Wilhelm-Marx-Haus
Düsseldorf, Germany

The reinforced concrete tower from the 1920s has a chiming clock, so when you stop on Heinrich-Heine-Allee, you'll hear a melody drifting down from its top.
One of the first reinforced concrete high-rise buildings in Central Europe, erected between 1922 and 1924 according to Wilhelm Kreis's design on Heinrich-Heine-Allee. It measures 57 meters in height and features a clock tower with a carillon playing city chimes.
