North River Gate

A gate over the Škurda river, where the entrance to the fortress of St John begins, and there are fewer crowds than at the Sea Gate.
A gate in the northern part of the walls, by the Škurda river. A good place to start the way up to the Fortress of St. John and for a calmer walk off the main route. There are fewer people here than at the Sea Gate.
