Built in 1986 as a replica of a 17th-century galleon for a film, not a real ship like Sottomarino Nazario Sauro.

The Neptune Galleon is a full-scale replica of a 17th-century Spanish galleon, built in 1986 for Roman Polański's film "Pirates." The ship is moored in the Old Port of Genoa and is open to visitors. You can board it, admire the intricately crafted details, and feel the atmosphere of ancient sea voyages. It is a popular attraction, especially for children.
