Milan Cathedral, Duomo di Milano, is a Gothic temple under construction since 1386. Its construction lasted over five centuries, making it one of the longest-built sacred objects. The cathedral's facade features 135 spires and over 3400 sculptures, made of white Candoglia marble. From the rooftop terraces, a panorama of Milan unfolds, with views of the Alps on clear days. The interior of the cathedral houses five naves and numerous chapels, offering space for worshippers and visitors. It is one of the largest churches in the world, measuring 157 meters in length.
