Built in 1927-1928, it was one of the first skyscrapers in Leipzig, distinguished by a clock with a melody and bell ringer figures.

Kroch-Hochhaus is one of the first skyscrapers in Leipzig, erected between 1927 and 1928 in the Art Deco style. The 43-meter-high building stands out with its characteristic clock, which plays a melody every quarter of an hour. At the top of the facade are two bell-ringer figures, known as the "Männleinläuten." Formerly, it housed the headquarters of Kroch bank, and now it is a university building.
