It lies already outside Düsseldorf, in Ratingen, and lets you compare Asian and North American trees along a trail by a stream, without a ticket and without garden greenhouses.

This historic landscape park and arboretum, covering an area of 4,5 hectares along the Angerbach stream in Ratingen, was founded in 1907 by industrialist Carl Poensgen. It features over a hundred rare species of trees and shrubs from Asia and North America.
