The Teatro La Fenice in Venice, opened in 1792, is one of the most important opera houses in the world. The venue hosted the premieres of many works, including Giuseppe Verdi's "Rigoletto" and "La Traviata". After a devastating fire in 1996, the theater was rebuilt in its original Rococo-Neoclassical style, preserving its golden stucco and rich decorations. The reconstruction lasted eight years, and the reopening took place in 2003. Currently, the theater continues its artistic activity, presenting a wide operatic and concert repertoire. A visit allows one to learn about the history of opera and admire the interior architecture.
