This is a 16th-century defensive tower built directly on the water, which is the only one in Lisbon to symbolize the era of maritime discoveries.

The distinctive defensive tower on the Tagus River is an iconic symbol of the Age of Discovery. Go up to see views of the river and the Belém area and get a close look at historical details. There are often long queues to enter.
