A late Gothic water gate, built in the 15th century, leading from Mariacka Street to the Motława River. It is one of Gdańsk's most recognizable and picturesque gates, often featured on postcards. It is characterized by a tower with a gable roof protruding from the face of the walls. On the street side, it is adjoined by the House of the Naturalists' Society. The gate now houses the Archaeological Museum, making its interiors accessible for visitors.
