Ca' d'Oro, or the Golden House, is a Gothic palace in Venice, built between 1428 and 1430. Its facade is characterized by delicate floral lace-like decorations, being an example of Venetian Gothic. The palace interiors house the Galleria Giorgio Franchetti, presenting an art collection. Among the exhibits is the painting "Saint Sebastian" by Andrea Mantegna. The building is an important point on the city's cultural map, offering insight into the architecture and art of the era. The palace was designed by Giovanni and Bartolomeo Bon. A 19th-century renovation restored its former splendor.
