The Cathedral of Naples, known as Duomo di San Gennaro, is the main church of the Neapolitan archdiocese. Its construction began in the 13th century, and its consecration took place in 1315. The interior of the cathedral presents a mix of styles, from Gothic to Baroque, with numerous chapels and works of art. The most important element is the Chapel of the Treasure of San Gennaro, completed in 1646, where the relics of the city's patron saint are kept. It is worth noting the frescoes by Domenichino and Lanfranco. The building is an important point on the cultural map of Naples.
