Sandy Bell's
Edinburgh, United Kingdom

The establishment on Forrest Road opened in the 1920s, and since the 1960s, it has been the center of Edinburgh's traditional music revival. Poets Hamish Henderson and Norman MacCaig, as well as folk musicians from all over the country, met in the pub. Seven days a week, acoustic music sessions with fiddlers, pipers, and guitarists take place at the tables. The bar offers rare types of Scotch whisky and regional draft beers. The small interior creates favorable conditions for evening conversations with music.
