St. Alexander Nevsky Cathedral
Sofia, Bulgaria
Beneath the cathedral there is a museum of icons in the crypt, and on the nearby square stalls with antiques and militaria set up at weekends.
The largest Orthodox church in the city, with large golden domes, around which groups of tourists usually gather. You can go inside for a short walk through the interior, and next to it there is also a crypt with icons, if it is open. Come in the morning to avoid the biggest crowds, and remember to dress modestly.
