It currently houses the Amber Museum, unlike the Ratusz Głównego Miasta, where the Gdańsk Museum is located.

A former defensive tower and prison, part of Gdańsk's medieval fortifications. Built in the 14th century, it served as a place of confinement for criminals and a torture chamber. Currently, it houses the Amber Museum, presenting the history and craftsmanship associated with Baltic amber. Next to it is the Katownia, together forming the foregate complex of Długa Street. This tower is a testament to former legal and defensive systems.
